Group Project- Seattle
I would rather work on a group story about “Seattle”- Life in Seattle. We can introduce some attractions in Seattle, like good restaurants, nice tourist spots, and offer some suggestions for the public transportation. I think that in our website, the navigation have some categories: Dining, Transportation, Art & Culture, Sightseeing, Ordinary Life, and Entertainment. Our audiences are who want to visit to Seattle and need to plan their trip and who would like to search and know something interesting in Seattle. We will give these audiences a full perspective and complete understanding about Seattle.
Besides, I have another idea about the group project. As an international student, we don’t know how to survive in this unfamiliar city. We feel a little nervous and even afraid with this city- Seattle at first. Our website can help other international students feel comfortable to live in Seattle. For example, we can tell them some living details, like how to open a new account in the bank, or how to pay for water fee. I really look forward to this website to offer more assistance for future international students.

A website to help international students adjust to Seattle life is an amazingly useful idea. They could consult it before coming to find out how to get downtown or to campus from the airport, and where to look for an apartment (craigslist!).

I like the idea of creating a site to help international students adjust to life in the U.S. Since you’ve had first-hand experience you would be a great person to construct this site.

Great idea – Could make a “best of Seattle” for tourists and for living in Seattle guide, UW may even include it in their info. for international students.
